πŸ’¦How to Pool LEO & CACAO

What You'll Need Before We Start

  1. Some LEO on Arbitrum (you can send LEO to Arbitrum LEO from the Hive blockchain using https://wleo.io/leo-arbitrum)

  2. Some Arbitrum ETH for gas fees (gas fees are only $0.01 on Arbitrum but you'll need some gas in order to transact with LEO. We built an "Arbitrum Gas Faucet" on the LeoDex UI. If you want to use the faucet, check out This Tutorial on How - it takes less than 20 seconds).

  3. Some CACAO to pair with your LEO (you can swap some of your LEO to get CACAO or swap any other asset on LeoDex into CACAO to pair)

  4. A Keystore or XDeFi wallet

Step 1). Login to https://leodex.io

I used XDeFi to sign in.

Step 2). Go to the "Deposit" Page and Select LEO in the Input

After selecting LEO, CACAO will automatically appear in the other side of the deposit. You won't need to edit or enter anything in the 2nd part of the deposit menu. Only the LEO part.

Step 3). Enter the Amount of LEO to Deposit and Click "Deposit Liquidity"

Here I put 400 LEO and you'll notice that it automatically fills the exact amount of CACAO that I need to pair that 400 LEO with in order to deposit.

Once I am satisfied with the amounts, I click deposit and then it says "Broadcasting Transaction".

If you're signed in with XDeFi, then an XDeFi approval Transaction Window will pop up and ask you to "Approve" this transaction.

Keep in mind that this is a cross-chain pool (CACAO & LEO), so that means there will be 3 separate XDeFi pop-up windows that you'll need to approve:

  1. The first will approve the Spending of LEO on Arbitrum

  2. The second will

Step 4). All Done!

You can see that in just a few seconds after broadcasting the transaction, my Active Pools position already updated to show my deposit.

The Transaction Tracker window in the middle will also give you some useful information about your deposit, including a "View in Explorer" link which will take you to the Mayascan block explorer to see that your deposit went through successfully.
