Swaps Under $150 Are Free
Swaps Over $150 Generate a 0.45% Affiliate Fee
Any swap under $150 will have a 0% affiliate fee. When a swap is over $150, LeoDex charges a 0.45% Affiliate Fee. This is one of the lowest fees on Maya Protocol.
What Happens to Fee Revenue?
Fee Revenue is collected by the LeoDex Affilaite Address. It then buys LEO and pools it with CACAO.
This means that every $1 of fee revenue is perma-pooled as permanent liquidity that will never be withdrawn.
The liquidity in the LEO:CACAO pool is the lifeblood of trading volume for the LEO Ecosystem. Our Hive Aggregation Technology (HAT) uses this pool as an aggregator for all Hive-assets to be swapped with Maya L1 assets.
The deeper the LEO:CACAO pool, the higher the potential swap volume on the HAT. This creates a flywheel effect where:
More swaps on LeoDex = more LEO bought and perma-pooled
More LEO bought and perma-pooled = more potential swaps

Bridging Fees
When LEO is moved across blockchains, a small bridging fee is incurred. This fee is currently 0.5% for LEO -> Arbitrum LEO (and vice versa).
100% of these bridging fees are perma-pooled into the LEO:HIVE liquidity pool on the Hive Blockchain. This is another critical pool as all HIVE Aggregated swaps will flow through the LEO:HIVE pool and the LEO:CACAO pool.
The strength of our Hive Aggregator is dependent on the weakest chain between these two pools so building liquidity simultaneously is vital for scaling HAT volume.
